Vineyard & Origin – Western Cape
The grapes are sourced from Fairtrade-certified vineyards in the Swartland region of the Western Cape.
These vineyards are 18 to 25 years old, trellised and planted on sandy loam soils. The vines are carefully farmed to maintain low yields of less than 6 tons per hectare, ensuring concentrated fruit and quality.
The Mediterranean climate of the region provides excellent conditions for producing fresh and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning to preserve their natural fruit character and freshness.
Only the free-run juice is used after pressing. The juice is allowed to settle before fermentation with selected yeast strains under controlled temperatures of 13–15°C, ensuring the wine retains its vibrant aromatics and crisp style.
