Winemaking

The grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness and delicate aromas. Only the free-run juice is used to ensure purity and elegance.

After gentle settling, the juice is fermented with selected yeast strains at controlled temperatures of around 13°C, allowing the wine to retain its vibrant fruit character and refreshing style.

Vineyards & Origin – Western Cape

The grapes are sourced from Fairtrade-certified vineyards in the Western Cape, predominantly from the Saarland area of Piekenierskloof.

The vineyards are trellised and planted on oakleaf and sandstone soils, which provide excellent growing conditions for Chenin Blanc. Yields are carefully managed to below 6 tons per hectare, ensuring good concentration and quality.
