Product Story

Sourced from vineyards planted on decomposed Bokkeveld shale soils over clay-loam at an elevation of 270 metres, this Pinot Noir benefits from cool growing conditions and a long ripening season that preserves freshness and enhances flavour concentration.

The grapes were hand harvested, with 20% whole bunches included during spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks to add aromatic complexity and structure. The wine was then matured for 10 months in French oak barrels, with 10% new oak and the remainder in second and third-fill barrels, creating subtle oak integration while allowing the fruit to shine.
